Arpan Gautam spent years at McKinsey and Goldman Sachs, then began building a bank in the UK, until COVID shut it down.
He stepped back and asked three questions: What do I like doing? What am I good at? What can make a difference? The answer was DeFi!
Four years later, Noon's sUSN stablecoin is now delivering 9.57% APY while competitors like Ethena, Resolv (until their recent exploit!), and Sky sit at 4-6%. That's 50-100% outperformance. And they've done it for ~18 months with zero security incidents and zero down days.
The secret isn't a single yield source. It's a multi-strategy engine combining DeFi, CeFi, and TradFi. Noon deploys across Morpho, Aave, and Euler. They access private credit through a Fasanara fund. They use leverage looping: deposit yield-bearing stablecoins as collateral, borrow non-yield-bearing stablecoins, loop the spread.
But here's part of what they believe makes Noon yields unique. First, every yield opportunity gets voted on by the community with detailed risk assessments. Second, a third-party verification happens through Accountable providing a real-time Proof of Solvency dashboard, one that’s not self-reported, and instead offers independent, verifiable audits of custodial and onchain wallets.
